BellaTerra olive oil is sourced from small, experienced producers in Italy who have a long tradition of crafting high-quality extra virgin olive oil. We focus on early harvest oils with naturally high polyphenol content, known for their antioxidant properties and bold flavour. Our flagship oils come from the volcanic soil of Mount Etna, where mineral-rich conditions contribute to a distinctive taste and exceptional quality.
BellaTerra olive oil is primarily produced on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, particularly around the town of Bronte. This volcanic region is known for its fertile, mineral-rich soil, which enhances both flavour and polyphenol levels. We also offer select oils from Puglia in southern Italy, including from the area around Bari, another region renowned for its olive oil heritage.
